An ordinance is being developed in Kauai that would make TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral/community cats illegal. Kauai Community Cat Project (KCCP) requests your assistance in retaining lawyers who can help fight this ordinance.
For us, nothing could be more important than ensuring that the right to take care of feral/community cats, and the land, our aina, remains legal. We are hopeful that those of you who support our views, and who are able, will help us financially in this fight. It will take lawyers with specialized knowledge of Hawaiian laws and wildlife laws to help us, and lawyers with such knowledge are expensive. But this IS a battle worth engaging in.
