I wanted to thank each and every person who donated to help Minnie. We collected the funds to have the surgery done!

Minnie will be going in tomorrow for her surgery and we have a Vet Tech volunteer – Alex who will take her home and help her with recovery! So excited for Minnie!!!

I will give you Minnie updates as soon as I have them!

Minnie Update #2

Just a quick update. Minnie had her surgery and is doing well! She has a follow-up visit this morning!

Minnie Update #3

Another quick update. Minnie’s surgery was a success. She now wants to eat! She is back with Liz and is recovering nicely. Minnie told me not to show her tummy but I knew you you want want to see. Too many stitches for a little girl!

Thanks to Alex for volunteering to take her home with her until we knew she was as they say “out of the woods”.

Minnie Update #4

Minnie that had the hernia diaphragmatic surgery is doing well. Gaining weight (3.6 pounds) and acting like a little kitten should. The total bill ended up being double the estimate but due to our donors concerns for Minnie we were able to cover the costs. Minnie still has some recovery and I have an idea that she will probably end up living on Kauai with one of our volunteers since she is a special need kitten.

Pete

This is the orange guy from several months ago. He had a broken leg that healed in an odd position and we had to have the leg amputated. The great news is Pete is totally well and he will be flying to Seattle Humane today! Thanks to our donors that supported Pete’s surgery. Seattle friends – if you want a cool cat – Adopt Pete!
