Thank you for your interest in fostering a kitten or an adult cat rescued by Kauai Community Cat Project. Fosters are very important to our work because they ensure that rescued kittens and cats are socialized to humans so that they can be adopted.

All kittens will come to you in good health and free of fleas. We can provide food, litter box, cat toys, additional flea medication, and guidance, if needed. When kittens are at least 2 pounds and socialized, we will schedule them to go to one of our partners on the mainland for adoption, or have them spayed/neutered and made available for on-island adoption. Once kittens are fixed, microchipped and socialized, we will begin taking them to our adoption events .
